ESPN Radio Plans Big Weekend

ESPN Radio is on the road this week with shows and coverage from the NFL Draft, the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, and the NBA playoffs.

For the NFL Draft, the network’s Mike and Mike In The Morning will broadcast Thursday and Friday from Harry Caray’s 7th Inning Stretch and the Chicago Sports Museum at Water Tower Place in Chicago, joined by ESPN analyst and former NFL wide receiver Cris Carter.

SportsCenter All Night will also air from Chicago early Thursday. Coverage of the draft will start at 7pm EST Thursday and will continue on Friday (starting at 6:30pm EST), with Dari Nowkhah hosting and Louis Riddick and John Clayton on analysis. Post-draft coverage will be hosted by Freddie Coleman with Adam Caplan, and Saturday’s “Dari and Mel” show (with Nowkhah and Danny Kanell filling in for Mel Kiper Jr.) also covering the draft.

At the fight, “The Herd with Colin Cowherd” will be airing from poolside at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas Wednesday through Friday. Stephen A. Smith’s SiriusXM show, produced by ESPN Radio, will air live from Radio Row at the MGM Grand Wednesday through Friday and Smith will also host a “Red Carpet Special” on ESPN Radio from the MGM Grand lobby Saturday noon-3pm EST.

And the network will air NBA playoff play-by-play on Saturday and Sunday and and baseball on Saturday (SF Giants at Los Angeles Angels) and Sunday (NY Yankees-Boston Red Sox).
