Michael Reghi is back.
WKNR-850 AM has hired Reghi for the Cavaliers’ 2015 postseason run. Reghi will join Greg Brinda on the “KNR King’s Court” postgame show after each Cavaliers playoff game.
“It came together quickly,” Reghi said. “They asked me about it at the Mid-American Conference tournament.
“I love doing the postgame shows. You get to interact with the fans. It’s always passionate, ranting and raving about bad performances. This year it should be a good run in the playoffs.”
Reghi, 60, formerly was a sports talk show host on WKNR, as well as the Cavaliers’ play-by-play voice on television for 13 years (1993-2006).
He said he formerly did postgame shows after Browns, Indians and Cavs games at the station. “It’s my favorite element,” Reghi said. “We’ll see where it goes.
The Michigan native works for ESPN doing college football and men’s basketball. He recently did the MAC tournament at Quicken Loans Arena. Reghi previously worked for WEWS-TV 5.
