The speedway has hosted the largest single-day crowd in Texas sports history.
Texas Motor Speedway:
• Annually attracts among the largest crowds of the season for all the major series that compete at the speedway
• Debuted an aggressive and edgier “No Limits” marketing campaign in August of 2010 aimed at attracting younger fans while also providing a multitude of new benefits to all fans

• Promotes some of the country’s largest music festivals
Gossage has been involved in motor sports since 1980, and his long and varied experience with auto racing in all its forms has made him one of the most influential executives not just in racing, but in all of professional sports. After starting out as the public relations director of Nashville International Raceway in 1980, in 1983 he took on management of Miller Brewing’s motor sports public relations program and was soon a fixture in NASCAR, Indy car, drag racing, sports car racing, and unlimited hydroplane racing.
In 1989, Gossage was named VP of public relations for Charlotte Motor Speedway, and in 1995, he was hand-picked by Speedway Motorsports Inc. Chairman Bruton Smith to be the guiding force for a new state-of-the-art facility in Fort Worth. Texas Motor Speedway opened in 1997, and today, under Gossage’s creative guidance, is considered one of the premier motor sports venues in the world.
Motor sports attracts some of the most passionate, loyal fans on earth — and so does Sports radio. The creative and business-savvy Gossage knows how to make those passionate fans happy, and how to generate big revenue and big growth while doing it.
