Curt Schilling, who has been on a leave of absence to undergo cancer treatment, will return to ESPN on Thursday night, appearing on set during the 10 p.m. edition of “Baseball Tonight” on ESPN2.
Schilling also will discuss his recent cancer battle in an interview with Karl Ravech on tonight’s 6 p.m. edition of SportsCenter. The interview also will be shown during tonight’s midnight edition of Baseball Tonight on ESPN2 and it will be available on ESPN.com’s MLB section. Schilling announced he had cancer earlier this year.
Schilling had been assigned to join the network’s “Sunday Night Baseball” team with Dan Shulman and John Kruk. He has yet to work a game and join that crew “as soon as he is comfortable,” according to the network.
